ITINERARIES – “everything to expect on your tour”

Enjoy a jam-packed day exploring waterfalls and historical landmarks with us here at North Shore Beach Bus. Each tour package provides pickups, drop offs, and rides to every stop along the way. Depending on your chosen hotel, your morning pickups will range anywhere from 6:45 to 7:25 am; check your hotel destination for your time. From there, our comfortable shuttles will drive through Diamond Head Coast – allowing guests to see the world-famous Amelia Earhart monument and the 100,000 year old Diamond Head Crater towering above it.

By 8 am, we’ll drive by Hanauma Bay State Park on our way to the Halona Blowhole. Traveling through centuries old lava tubes, ocean water bursts out of the surface hole, creating quite the sight to see! Around 9 am, we’ll traverse off the beaten path to the roadside Tropical Macadamia Nut Farm where we’ll indulge in the touch, smell, and taste of this island favorite. Then, we’ll take our macadamia treats to go for our journey through Mokoli’i Island (aka Chinaman’s Hat), where you’ll learn about Hawaiian folklore and the storied adventure of how the island came to be.

Before 11 am, we’ll make an optional lunch stop at the famous Fumi’s Shrimp Truck up on the North Shore. Try their savory Butter and Garlic Shrimp or Spicy Shrimp plates for a glimpse into the flavors that make them so great! After, our guests will get a choice of what to do next – have beautiful beach time at the popular Waimea Bay, or explore tropical plants along a gorgeous Waimea Waterfall Walk and at the Botanical Garden. Please keep in mind that the second option is not available on Mondays from September through May.

After visiting the North Shore for lunch and relaxing for a few hours, we’ll head back towards Waikiki to the world famous Dole Pineapple Plantation. Due to the potential of this 9-hour tour, our visit will be reserved for walking through the garden, learning about the history, and witnessing the many varieties of pineapple; dole whip isn’t included, and the maze/ train rides aren’t allowed on this stop. Lastly, all shuttles will head back to the various Waikiki hotels for drop off between 3:30 and 4:30 pm. Note that these are all estimated times due to variances in weather forecasts, traffic conditions, and/or driver’s discretion.
